Forged Rivet Tool Set
These hand forged rivet setting tools come as a set, one designed for setting the washer onto the rivet post and the other designed to peen over the end of the rivet to lock it in place. These tools are forged from 4140 steel and have been heat treated and tempered for a long life of service. They are designed to be struck with a metal hammer, though a rawhide or wooden mallet would also work. Each tool is approximately 5” long.
The sets are available in two sizes, a Large and a Small. The Large size is designed to work with #9 and #10 rivets while the Small is designed for use with #12 and #14 rivets. Please check that your rivets will easily fit in the hole on the setter tool before beginning work!! These will work with both Copper and Brass rivets. Once you add the Rivet Tool Set to your cart, you will be able to choose what size you want.
